Since the first prototype of Elementarry different things have been changed by sailing and testing the prototype.

• The original schooner rig has been replaced by a uni-rig, with just one higher aspect main sail ...
• The rig changed from a fixed boom to a wishbone. This makes the control over the flying sail shape both easier and greater.
• The position of the rudders has been moved from the windward side of the leeward hull, to a position on the beams near the leeward hull ...

For our production version we have changed/added the following items:

• We designed a (free-standing) 11.5 m (37') wingmast, that together with an 16 to 20 sq m main, brings the total sail area up to 19 - 23 sq m.
• We designed a simple system to control the mast rotation. The mast will rotate in IGUStm composite glide-bearings.
• We developed an auto-release kick-up system for the rudders, that is easily controlled from the end of the tiller extension, up to 4 m away.

Elementarry specifications:

• LOA: 7.5 m (25')
• WOA: 4.0 m (13')
• Sail area: 23 sq m (248 sq ft)
• Sailing weight: 90 kgs (198 lbs)
